The idea for this simple photo series came to me back in late 2024 when I noticed the clouds illuminated by the morning sunlight. I often step out onto the balcony for a smoke and almost always find something beautiful in the sky.
I tried several times to put these shots together into a proper series but each attempt felt incomplete. After moving from Kharkiv to Ivano-Frankivsk I still couldn’t let go of this idea. It’s hard to forget something you see every single day, huh?
Throughout the summer of 2025, I photographed the sky and the result is what you can now see on this page.
